REM Guiding is home based in Maple Ridge B.C., approximately 45 minutes from the Fraser and Harrison River. We provide experienced guided fishing and an angling adventure that may change the way you look at fishing forever.

The Fraser River White Sturgeon is recognized Internationally as the most exciting and challenging sport fishery. They range from 2 to 12 feet in length and can reach weights of over 1,000 lbs. Our main Sturgeon season runs April to the end of November. This is your chance at “battling” with North America’s biggest freshwater game fish.

The first salmon to begin migrating up the Fraser River is the Chinook Salmon (Spring or King). These fish average 15-20 lbs and 30-40 lbs are common. Chinook exceeding 60 lbs are landed on the river each summer and fall. Prime fishing runs from June 1- July 30. These fish will give you the fight of your life with most often an unforgettable chase. The Fraser River holds the potential for a world record Chinook.

Sockeye Salmon are the next to venture up the Fraser River. Sockeye will average about 6 lbs and are great fighters. Excellent for canning or superb on the barbeque. Prime fishing runs from August 1-August 30. An estimated 6 million Sockeye are expected to return to the Fraser River this year, we should all be in for tremendous fishing with allot of "fish on" in the air.

Coho Salmon are at the top the list for fall fishing. These fish are known for their scrappiness and acrobatic abilities. Ranging from 5-20 lbs. Prime fishing for Coho runs from Oct. 1-Nov. 30.

Lets not forget the Chum and Pink Salmon! Odd numbered years bring the Pinks and lots of them. Lets get ready for an estimated 20 million in 2007.

Take a trip up the majestic and pristine waters of the Harrison River to view huge numbers of bald eagles arriving to feast on salmon. The Harrison River offers fabulous fall fishing to make a memorable adventure complete.

Testimonial
Dear Bob,

Thank you for a great day on the Fraser River! Your enthusiasm and commitment to us having a good time in spite of weather made our fishing trip a wonderful experience. You seem to know exactly where the fish were hiding and coached us in the techniques to catch and release the many Sturgeon we hooked into.
We'll be back!
